I quietly bit my lip in anxiety when I watched Peter walk into the room.
He was always being the smartass, winding everyone up and picking on people. I just hoped he wouldnāt notice me so he wouldnāt say anything to me.

I braced myself for the jokes and hurtful words. I just remained silent, waiting for it all to fall on me. But it didnāt.
