Five Headcanons: Peter
1. Interesting Clothing Choices
He was nicknamed beanie boy in Stanford for a reason. Owns only three, but rare is the day he’s not wearing one. He has a black one, a gray-ish maroon one, and a gray one.
2. The Incredibles is a classic!
Thoroughly enjoys animated movies no matter the source. Used to watch them in the company of Charles or Lauren, but as he grew up, watching them alone became a habit he effortlessly picked on. Now he may recapture the tradition-of-sorts via Leighton, and make him sit through Finding Nemo, How to Tame Your Dragon, Lilo and Stitch, and Howl’s Moving Castle all in one day, if Leighton allows it.
3. Shouldn’t have mentioned Bioaerosol
Peter talks and he talks nonstop. If you ask him a question he’ll not only answer it but he’ll unravel his response to the point he’s giving you information you don’t really care for, mixed up with personal anecdotes and extraneous trivia.
Specially if it’s a biology or chemistry or science-specific question. And he won’t mind if you don’t provide an equally-enthusiastic response to his musings; he’s used to it. He’ll just take any opportunity to vocally express his ideas to somebody because it’s how he can understand his train of thought better, despite how baffling, messy and unclear it might be to those listening.
4. The Housed Mansion of Unimaginable Terror
When Peter was four years old he went to a pretty cheap and trashy amusement park with his dad and sister. They visited the haunted mansion much to Joseph’s concern that ‘Peter’d get traumatized’.
The small group started exploring the rooms, every-so-often hearing screams both human and computer-created. While they walked through a dark hallway where the paintings clattered against the walls and the floor creaked, an actor showed up dressed as a skeleton, right in front of the young boy. The skeleton’s face got so close to Peter the guy was able to whisper “Are you scared?” and muster it in the most mysterious voice he could fathom. Right before Joseph attempted picking up the kid and dragging him back outside the house, Peter stood on his toes to kiss the actor on the nose. The guy was so surprised by the unusual defense tactic, he started laughing uncontrollably, having to leave the mansion.
5. Am I getting paid for this? Sweet
Taking up as a TA hadn’t really been one of his plans. He’s disorganized and absent-minded, but apparently he had ‘hidden potential’ which is code-name for “You already know this class’ material by memory so you might as well be useful.”
