Big Brother 7 winner Pete Bennett has admitted his ÂŁ100,000 grand prize was spent on âbailiffs, the tax man and drugsâ.

âBut really inside all these bodies is a potentially divine soul. This is what the spirituality (sic) is trying to say. And, uh, we are not the body. We are in bodies and the body is the thing that changes. But inside is the spirit and the spirit remains the same from one life to another. It never changes. There was never a time when it didnât exist and there will never be a time when it ceases to exist. The only thing that changes is the bodily condition.â - George in a 1988 interview with Rita Westvik
Big Brother winner Pete Bennett is now working as a cleaner
Back in 2006, Pete Bennett won our hearts when he took part in Big Brother, with absolutely nobody being surprised when he was announced as the winner of that yearâs series, scooping a ÂŁ100,000 prize.
However, times have changed for the reality star, and now Pete has set up a business as a âcelebrity cleanerâ after blowing all of the money that he won and winding up homeless.

Now 34, Pete promises to do a variety of household chores for a whopping ÂŁ100 an hour, with the extra cost coming due to his celebrity status.
Speaking to the Daily Star about âCelebricleanâ, Pete explained: âI donât mind getting my hands dirty and Iâll do any sort of cleaning job.â
Pete previously admitted that his post-Big Brother life didnât quite go to plan, sharing: âThe work dried up pretty fast, no-one would touch me with a barge pole because I was to do with âBig Brotherâ. I lost it all.

âIt all kind of went wrong, it didnât go to plan. I had all that money and I didnât know what to do with it.
âI put it on the wrong things. I was homeless after having so much money. Itâs easy come, easy go. The fame pushed me in a way I didnât want to go, I didnât like it.â
Pete, who suffers with Touretteâs syndrome, also revealed that he hoped to get into the film industry â hereâs hoping that his new career path will help him get to Hollywood, eh?
