About this blog! (and it's owner)
Why hello there! My name's Sharon, but everyone online knows me as Kai. I'm creating this blog for my great love of pets and all animals. Right now, my boyfriend, Chris, and I have two wonderful bunnies. My boy's name is Pocket Watch, and Chris' little girl's name is Dali. (Don't worry, they're both fixed.) Anywho, I'm going to go over my views on pets briefly so that those who don't agree don't follow me by mistake, and those who do agree will have a friend and someone to share their pet love with!
I'm 100% for spaying/neutering all pets, unless you're a serious breeder who's aim is to improve the breed, no matter what species it is. I believe that if you're going to get a new pet, your two options are either a respectable breeder (no backyard breeders,) or a shelter. Breeders of "teacup" sized dogs are Not respectable breeders. Under no circumstances should a pet be given as a surprise gift, or purchased/adopted on a whim. Always prepare and research for at least a month beforehand. And of course love your pet! But treat them like their own species. This pet is your companion, not your son/daughter.
Pets are some of my favourite things, and I love seeing a healthy pet/owner relationship! I love getting answering questions because if I don't feel I can answer it well off the top of my head, I get to research and learn even more!
Even though rabbits, dogs, cats and some reptiles are what I know best, I'll try to post a good variety of animals for all kind of pet lovers and owners!
