It’s implied that Pesmerga isn’t human, or at least, is no ordinary human. He doesn’t sleep, and he can move around in that heavy armor without making a lot of noise. Richmond says he’s never been seen eating, either, although he can be a judge in the cook-off mini game. Hmm….

I don’t really have any theories about Pesmerga, since he just sticks out in my mind as a “mysterious” character. He has even less of a backstory than Tir, and not much of a personality, either. He has a one-track mind. He seems to be pretty lousy at finding people, though. Is Yuber really that elusive? He doesn’t seem like it.

I think we have to be careful when it comes to making assumptions about Pesmerga. Or we would, if there were actually any hope of his storyline continuing. :P Even if he is the order to Yuber’s chaos, that doesn’t mean he’s evil, nor does it mean he’s good. He may not be seeking an “absolute” like Hikusaak or Yuber. He might just be motivated by revenge, or perhaps he simply wants to rid the world of such an evil creature. And if he’s also in possession of a True Rune–even if it’s the “opposite” of the Eightfold Rune–it’s possible he just has better self-control than Yuber, or is better at using the Rune “properly” (for a good example, think Brandeau’s vs. Lazlo’s use of the Rune of Punishment). I mean, Yuber’s a pretty nasty character, and who’s to say whether he’s being controlled by the Rune or not? Even if he is, True Runes are neither inherently good nor inherently evil. It all depends on the host.
