There’s a huge difference between one of my housemates and I.

She is constantly putting on this persona of “everything is positive and it all depends on how you look at it so it’s your choice whether you have a good day or not”

But she gets upset and stays upset so easily.

Then there’s me. I have depression and anxiety and can easily tell you exactly how badly something can go. It might take me four hours to list how badly you can screw up making a cup of tea, but you know I’ll be detailed about it.

I’ve had this request for a while and got it again yesterday/today… but I’m sorry I’ve waited so long :/ Thank you for sending this is, though! This is a little difficult for me to answer, because there’s only so much of their lives that we see…From what I’ve heard from people who have met them, Grayson is a lot more outspoken and outgoing. I see him making really good first impressions. I think Gray is also really goal-oriented, and he’s the kinda person who’s constantly saying how bored he is. Gray is also emotionally driven imo… he’s easily fascinated and invested in things, even if it only lasts a little bit of time. I know someone who every time she gets a boyfriends she swears he’s the one she’s going to marry, and then it never works out and she’s heartbroken. I see him being like that too. He gets so head over heels about certain things and expects them to last forever, when that just can’t always be the case (like how mesmerized he was with Australia). I think that when he gets a little anxious, he talks more to calm his nerves. He seems like the kind of person who uses sooo many words of affirmation. Like if you’re telling a story, he would have such strong body language and constantly mumble “right” or “yeah” or “mhm” and nod his head just to assure you that he’s really listening to you. I think that when Ethan meets new people, he gets a lot more anxious and kinda shuts down (where Gray is the opposite). I think he’s got a lot more going on in his head than he leads on, and I think the voices in his head often speak louder than the people around him. I feel like he’s the kinda guy that could sit and literally do nothing and be content. Like he just wouldn’t get bored easily. I don’t think he’s the kind of person to get his hopes up. I don’t think he’s necessarily pessimistic, but he sees the reality in things. I feel like he sees things as they are “too good to be true” unless proven otherwise if that makes sense. I think he keeps a lot of his emotions inside and hidden. He could be really excited about something, but he’ll play it off to protect himself (like when they released the dolan twins beanies - his comment on the instagram post about them). I think he cares a little bit more about what other people think, even though he knows he shouldn’t. And I think if you were telling a story, he’d be a really quiet listener. Like he wouldn’t necessarily give you those words of affirmation like I said Grayson would. 

I have never been made of pure sunshine, despite what I show externally.

I’ve always been made of depth, and complications, and emotions, and yes, some of those emotions reflect the sun

Because I can feel the warmth and relate to certain parts

But I am most often like a thunderstorm
