Ted stood in front of the bathroom mirror, breathing hard. Adrenaline and fear was still rushing through him as he tried to catch his breath. He had just ran down several sets of stairs, all in an effort to escape the group of boys who had teamed up against him and surrounded him. Ted was used to the slurs and insults from purebloods, but it wasn’t often the encounters escalated to violence. He had barely managed to escape from them, but not before they got in a few hits.

Ted touched his eye softly, then winced. It was already starting to swell and his lip was bleeding. He sighed as he left the bathroom, looking around to make sure the coast was clear. He started walking towards the hospital wing, eyes downcast so nobody would see his injuries, before he bumped into someone and he jumped back, still on edge from the fight. “Sorry!” He exclaimed quickly.
