The @sony PHA-1 Amp/DAC STILL holds its own - and, IMHO, I think Sony should've stuck with the rail system - as opposed to just going back to the same old rubber bands!! The combination of the PHA-1 & Meze 12Classics Universal IEMs was so damn good Im listening to the SAME RIG as I type this!! But that's my OCD so pardon me. This pairing was INSANE when you consider the cost - it was sensational, @mezeaudio has their hands on something thats GOLD NO matter: A product, or products more accurately that all far outperform their selling costs

I haven't spoken with the guys at @schiit in awhile, but their Jotunheim Configurable Balanced Headphone Amp/Pre-Amp (w/ DAC & Phonostage option) is definitely my FAVE product of 2016!! Tons of power, finesse, and it built like, well, like a brick SchiitHouse! Elegantl contemporary design aesthetic as well. LOVE it w/ my trusty @audeze-blog LCD-2Fs w/ #Wywires Red Series balanced lead (I helped voice that product - proud of the work we did) - sonically addictive and STUNNING
