I read they're making people submit medical evidence to get their refunds to prove they're not useable with ur condition? Like?? Pardon me I think Permobil is in the wrong for basically fucking up a variable resistor (which, according to my electrician father, is the same as a dimmer light switch).

Riddle me this Permobil. Is a light switch the same as a dimmer switch? NO

1. my back has been in MASSIVE pain the last few days, and the wheelchair i have now isn’t as accommodating with my back issues as it used to be.

2. the wheelchair i have now is barely taking/keeping a charge at this point. i get maybe three to four hours tops before it dies, and it is not hesitant to die in public either.

3. i’m starting my first year of college in less than a month now, August 27th to be exact & who knows what’s gonna happen if it dies on me there.

4. my new chair is literally one of the most nice, accommodating chairs i’ve had. there’s a special cushion on it that is specifically fit to my needs, and i am so excited to use it.

5. it also has an elevator/lift on it which i’m SUPER excited for because right now i’m lucky if i don’t have to ask people to get me a cup or a bowl at home.

6. the charger!! on!! this!! new!! one!! is!! so!! much!! smaller!! which!! is!! so!! much!! more!! convenient!!

7. it’s a permobil, and they’re just fantastic in general.

8. the charger i have now is like five pounds tops, and when i plug my chair in i get these really aggravating buzzing sounds from it.

9. the new chair has activereach, which is supposedly supposed to help me reach thinhs better and hopefully transfer in and out of my chair better, which is extremely good because i’ve taken a few falls just trying to transfer on my own.

10. it has elevated legs which is AMAZING because my legs tend to cramp up and spasm a lot.

11. it also has a tilt, (the one i have now does too) but still, amazing for my back problems.

12. it’s blue, which UH is my favorite color ever. :D
