Plot Drop: The First Week of Shooting
Now that youâve all been cast in Performing the Arts, itâs time to shoot the pilot. Now we know that during your âauditionâ process, you were asked to do a few tweets, and this is a game, so weâll be taking some artistic license, but for the first few weeks or so, youâre characters cannot tweet about the show by name. Thatâs just not done until the show is for sure being picked up. But if you want, you can have your character tweet/post about an exciting upcoming âprojectâ this spring. The fun of this game is that itâs mostly focused on the characters as actors. So thisâll be about them getting to know each other, and also maybe working on other projects after the pilot is shot as they wait to hear if the pilot is picked up, and along with it will they also be picked up. Now, itâs not as though any of the characters are actually going to be fired, but weâre going to pretend like itâs an option just for fun.Â
All that thatâs all been said, first up on the agenda is the table read. We wonât be actually playing out the table read, but below, youâll see what is on schedule for the pilot episode so that you know who your characters will be interacting with in their scenes. Also, hereâs where it gets just a little tricky, the only thing that âfansâ can see are the things posted to social media. So your tweets, in character asks, and Instagram posts are all that can be âseenâ by your public, everything else, all texts, f2f, paras, etc, are considered private interactions. The admins will write a synopsis of whatâs happening in the show weekly once it starts to âairâ to keep you and anyone following the game in the loop of whatâs going on on the show so that you can plot for your characters accordingly, but thatâs still about two weeks away. These first two weeks are all about your characters getting to know / becoming reacquainted with one another. There will be call times and âre-shootsâ for the show for your characters. So keep that in mind when it comes to when youâre having your characters âhang outâ with one another.Â

The drama âgeeksâ: A scene where Lennon and Colton are playing out a scene from A Dollâs House with their teacher Ms. Koch (played by Sue Sylvester) is yelling at them to give more emotion.
The artist: A scene where Inez if being instructed by her teacher Miss Cormier (played by Emma Pillsbury) to paint something from the heart, and you see her paint a beautiful portrait of Sadie.Â
The love triangles: A scene that shows how much Vera loves Atticus while setting up the secret storyline between he and Ivy.Â

Tuesday is the first table read and begin costuming and test shots for hair on Wednesday (no pictures of this can be posted just yet, though there may be some pap shots taken if they go for lunch. The admins will generally be responsible for posting those at random). They start run through with the team and cast Thursday. Thereâs another run through for ABC next week and then theyâll begin shooting which will take  about a two weeks.Â
That is all that is scheduled for now. There will be another plot drop next week. Weâre so excited to get started.Â
