The management degree at Toi Whakaari was designed by an inspired man Bill Guest. In this degree is a whole lot of flexibility to enable individual pathways, learning and exploration across different parts of performing arts. The philosophy is that you are better able to manage a process if you have experienced doing different parts of it.
Graduation speech Lisa Maule 2015
With the mic first year Bachelor of Performing Arts Management student Ashley Mardon experiencing ‘doing a part of it’ wrapping up the graduation ceremony of 2015 - she is addressing the graduated cohort - letting them know that they have contributed to the educational culture at Toi Whakaari and the remaining students will continue to develop it. (In her own words though).
This is the group of graduates from 2015 - they joined together as a group and learnt a song to sing to us all at the end of the ceremony.
