Harriet knew that the things she’d done to Charlie would make the Weasley family skeptical of welcoming her with open arms. However, she’d renounced her old ways. Since finding out about her pregnancy, she stopped going to Redeemer meetings. She stopped answering their owls. Before that, she’d stopped giving them useful information when she learned of her feelings for Charlie. She tried her best to be kind. She complimented Mrs. Weasley’s food. She attempted to speak with his siblings. Some of the Weasley family had come around, but there was one whom she couldn’t break. After seeing him at the party, Percy had left a bad taste in Harriet’s mouth and she wanted to clear the air between them. 

Naturally, that was why she’d showed up to his office at the Ministry. She knocked on the door politely, before entering, her gaze meeting his. “I was hoping that we could clear the air,” Harriet murmured, her gaze hardening slightly. “Whether you like it or not, my children will arrive in a few weeks time. Charlie would like you to be in their lives, but if you continue with your behaviour, I’ll have no choice but to keep you out of their lives.” 

Ron was exhausted, but sleep felt like a foreign concept at this point. When his father had been kidnapped, he obsessed over finding his dad. He obsessed over being there for his family. Now, after finding Arthur, he couldn’t sleep because he was afraid he’d miss something. He waited for his father to wake up. He waited for the healers to tell him that something had changed. Truthfully, he was just happy that he’d found his dad. He’d breathed a small sigh of relief, but it had quickly turned to worry when they realized he was unconscious. If Ron wasn’t at his apartment attempting and failing to get sleep, he was either at the Burrow or at the hospital. Currently, he sat at his father’s bedside, dosing off slightly. 

His head fell slightly from his hand that was propped up on the seat and he jerked awake when he was joined by someone else in the room. Ron quickly straightened in his chair when he caught a glimpse of his older brother. “Perce,” Ron murmured, “Nothing’s changed. It’s late. Everything okay?” 

Irene had grown bored with her work for the day and chose to do something else instead. The Redeemers were quite honestly a mess and she decided to leave it in Martin’s hands for once. It was him that had gotten them into this mess. Why should she clean up all of his messes? Instead, Irene met with one of her sources at the Ministry, promised a lunch in a couple of days, and then was on her way out when she spotted Percy Weasley’s office. Why not cause a little bit of chaos? She was bored after all. 

Walking past the secretary, Irene knocked at his door, before entering his office and closing the door behind her. “Mister Weasley,” she greeted with an innocent grin, “What a pleasure. I was hoping that I’d see you today.” 

Growing up, Molly had always wanted a big family. Having seven children always seemed to be in her wheelhouse. It made for a chaotic house for a very long time, but Molly loved every moment of it. There wasn’t a child that she loved more than the other; she loved them all equally. However, there were a few of her children that she knew needed a little extra care at times. Sometimes they switched, but Percy had always been a momma’s boy for as long as she could remember. While her other children branched off and grew more distant, she always knew that she’d have Percy to rely on. 

“Percy, love, I made a roast and veggies for you. You’ll stay for tea right?” Molly asked her son, trying not to guilt trip him, but knowing that it was his favorite in the same beat. 

Even when there were things in the world that Fleur couldn’t control, her job felt like a constant. It felt like something she had control over. With the incident that had occurred upon the train and the incidents that kept occurring, the rumours of a war on the horizon were whispered. The Order meetings were tense and she knew it would only get worse. Her job felt like an escape from the madness. Somewhere she could rid herself of her feelings and only use logic. Her personality at work as a lawyer was much different from the one that she used at home with her family. 

After her first case was finished, Fleur set off in search for a coffee cart, hoping to grab a cup of tea. When she spotted her brother-in-law, she forgot about the caffeine for a moment to loop her arm through Percy’s. She knew that things were tense in the Weasley family lately. The last thing that she wanted was another falling out. Especially with the world in the state that it was. 

“Fancy a cuppa? I vas hoping that we could talk,” she offered softly.

Katie had spent most of the night with Oliver by her side. It was something that she’d grown used to and to be completely honest, she wasn’t opposed to it at an event like this one. After the past couple of events had evolved into chaos, she preferred to stick by his side rather than wandering off on her own. However, at some point she’d managed to wander off on her own and she was a bit nervous. A couple of glasses of champagne in, Katie had a nice buzz, but it was nothing compared to Midsummer. She’d been completely smashed then. Her alcohol level wasn’t the same, but she couldn’t help the secrets that wanted to spill from her lips. Something was off.

Seeing Percy, Katie wandered over to him with a nervous smile. “Hey,” she greeted him, before murmuring, “Can I stay with you until I find Oliver? I think something was wrong with my drink and these events make me nervous. I don’t like being alone.” 

Katie was finally at the point in her pregnancy when she was feeling good enough to finally get out of the house. At some point she had to because she was beginning to go stir crazy. The doctor had told her that she couldn’t play quidditch and she followed the orders. However, she was beginning to get bored. She’d already organized the apartment the best that she could. She cleaned. She put away a lot of the stuff that Oliver had bought. What else was she supposed to do? Today, she decided to make a trip to Flourish and Blotts to see if she was able to find a couple of books. Maybe she’d get into reading. 

Flipping through a book, Katie decided that she’d buy it. She was searching another shelf when she ran into Percy. “Hi, Percy!” Katie exclaimed happily when she saw him. “Are you all right?” She asked. “I suppose that Oliver has told you the news already? He’s told everyone.” 

Ron had spent most of the night surrounding the buffet table which wasn’t a change from the usual. He’d had a few glasses of champagne, which happened to be his downfall when everyone began to find out that it was dosed with something to make everyone tell the truth. Ron had never been quite good at keeping his mouth shut on a normal day, so this wasn’t much different than usual for him. However, he found it amusing to see everyone else trying to keep their mouths shut. He wondered what kind of secrets would be spilled tonight. When he spotted his older brother across the room, Ron walked over towards him. 

“Hey, Perce. You having a good time? Personally, I think it’s a bit stuffy in here. The food is shite. Not a pumpkin pasty in sight.”
