Harriet wasnât going anywhere, she was Charlieâs girlfriend and soon to be mother of his children, so Oliver wanted to put the awkwardness of the past behind them and move on. What happened happened, but there was no reason to dwell on it. If Charlie forgave her he didnât really have a right to be mad at her former Redeemer affiliated activities, did he? He thought that they should be able to be friendly, or at least civil. If he was nice to her, sheâd be nice to him. And she could give him valuable pregnancy advice so he could help Katie out better and that was something he valued a great deal. âShe can yell at me all she wants if thatâs what she needs to do to feel better. Sheâs already doing so much with carrying the baby.â He loved Katie with all his heart, heâd do anything for her. âAre you sure? The healer already said the baby is big for his ageâŚâ Pregnancy was weird and scary and he was still wrapping his head around it. âI really do appreciate it.â

She was hoping that they could put the awkwardness of their initial encounter behind them. Harriet didnât hold anything against Oliver. In fact, she had barely thought about him since their encounter. Even then, sheâd been thinking about Charlie. Harriet smiled at the love that Oliver had for his wife. It reminded her a lot of what she and Charlie managed to have together. âOh, she will yell at you. A lot, just donât take it personally. Sheâll probably cry too.â Lord knew that Harriet had done plenty of both. Thankfully Charlie worked with dragons for a living. She reassured Oliver, âIâm sure. Her body will handle it just fine. At least it isnât twins.âÂ
