What was your Ilvermorny House? Were you happy with it?
My House at Ilvermorny was Wampus. I was extremely happy with this and had been expected hoping to be sorted into this House. Graves men had been sorted into Wampus for generations. For those who might not know (like those who went to Hogwash) Wampus was named by Webster Boot after his favourite magical beast. A Wampus is a magical panther like creature that is fast, strong and almost impossible to kill. Wampus house is sometimes considered to represent the body of a witch or wizard. It is said that Wampus favours warriors.
What is your relationship with Theseus Scamander?
Theseus and I served together during the war where we became friends and lovers. Over the years we have remained in contact. We send letters back and forth and often meet during cases and conferences where we sometimes have the opportunity to catch up and sometimes sleep together.
Spying on a Magizoologist
Graves had it on good authority that Newt Scamander was back in New York. He wasn't here on an official capacity and he knew Tina was out of town on assignment.
Magical creatures were still illegal in America and all known breeders had been closed down, their animals taken into custody. He always ensured they ended up in Scamanders care, having no interest in harming the creatures. Some were even... cute. Except the Niffler. That little bastard had tried to steal his cufflinks, his watch, his scorpion lapel pins and his loose change.
Newt being in the country wasn't an issue. However if he had brought that blasted case with with him, accidentally released some creatures loose again... He needed to find him and ensure the man was only visiting and not breaking any laws.
He had already looked at a few places and come up empty. He had no more place that he would try before calling it quits for the day.
