I am presenting my 123,487 word, socio-political novel For the Next Killer Who Dies for your consideration.

Kingsley Montivelo, a former terrorist and potential war criminal, is writing a memoir. It is a memoir about his people, the Killers, a racial minority being oppressed by the colonial Shivians, and the Killer Liberation Army’s (KLA) attempt to fight back. It begins with a bloody riot and follows Kingsley on his path from being a small time grunt to leader of the KLA.

His memoir has piqued the interest of a historian named Alexander Phillips, who is more interested in understanding Kingsley’s ‘war crimes’ in the Second Shadow War. A deal is struck in which Alexander will publish Kingsley’s memoir in exchange for information. However, it quickly becomes clear that truth is relative and that yesterday’s terrorist can become today’s hero.

Personally I’m loving season 3. Yes, it is definitely slower than the beginning of Season 2, but that’s because season 2 ended with such a devastating moment, there needs to be a pause before the next storm. So I understand why the last three episodes have been more about character development. I’m also loving the extra sense of uncertainly and an even looser hold on reality. Personally, that human heart thing is one of my favorite things to ever be shown on television and last week’s discussion into Hannibal’s past, without actually solidifying Hannibal’s past was brilliant.

I’ve been really enjoying Hannibal’s game with Bedelia and their back and forth is simply divine. Bedelia adds yet one more uncertain element and it’s great to see her play off of Hannibal, who is even crazier than usual. And I’m enjoying watching Will outside of Hannibal’s direct influence. I believe that these first three episodes were to show us how Will and Hannibal function without each other-kind of like checking in on two people who just broke up after dating for a really long time. They try to continue their lives without each other, but they can’t and now they’re dancing this dangerous game, both uncertain if they want to meet again, but both dying to see each other one last time.

So over all I’ve really enjoyed this season and I’m looking forward to the rest of it.

Crazy Hannibal is really the best!
