I don’t call things psyops very often but every time there’s a protest and as soon as the ‘don’t violently protest’ ‘don’t leave the published route’ ‘but but law and order’ crowd pops up and gets shouted down there’s always a rash of “don’t use milk to treat [chemical burns on people’s faces]”. Let me be crystal clear. THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO BENEFIT FROM YOU INSISTING ON TREATING PEPPER SPRAY WITH WATER ARE THE POLICE WHO USE IT AGAINST US: the point of pepperspray is to give you no other choice but to rinse your eyes over and over again while they break up the line.

This one is hard to watch because a little awareness could have changed the outcome. It’s easy to become distracted, but that distraction could come at a hefty price!! Stay Vigilant: 1. Look around your entire environment and look for anyone who would potentially be an attacker. 2. Stay off of your phone if possible. Quick glances are best if you have to look at your phone. 3. If in your vehicle lock your doors, never leave you door open, windows down, sunroof open, or doors unlocked, while checking your phone. 4. Although “voice to text sucks,” use that if you need to type something up that requires more attention and then, when you get to a safe environment, double check it’s spelling and grammar, and then send your text. 5. Carry a self defense tool. There are several inexpensive less-lethal tools available that can give you an advantage in a fight. It’s wise to seek these out. A little awareness and a can of Pepper Gel or Pepper Spray could have given her a huge advantage here. 6. Always, always, always fight back as though your life depends on it...it just might!
