While not dominant in the #district, #brutalist style of #architecture is expressed throughout #washingtondc. An example is the J. Edgar Hoover Building, which up until a few years ago, served as the office for the #federalbureauofinvestigation. This is sited on Penn, in between the White House and the Capitol.
