The staff at OCI attended a presentation given by Freddy Lutz, the Director of Strategic Planning and Client Development with PennBid – Pennsylvania’s no cost,e-procurement and bid management program.

  OCI will begin utilizing PennBid for all of its bid solicitations to streamline the bidding process for our municipal clients, providing a more timely and effective way to communicate with clients and bidders. PennBid will save Ott Consulting and our client’s time and money with its straightforward time and cost saving benefits. It will attract a larger, more qualified vendor pool and reduce costs for potential bidders. All bids and proposals submitted will be maintained on a secure site that will also allow for the posting of questions - asked and answered. OCI is currently using PennBid for the bidding of a construction project located within a Lehigh County municipality. Our experience with the process has been positive.
