I think there’s no Law pair that I don’t ship, dear :D
• When or if I started shipping it: For ‘default setting’, I view Pen as no more than ‘one of the two adorkables who are ‘No.1 Captain’s Dedicated Fanboys™’ BUT it’s a different story when it’s done right complete with convincing background of their history together, like his character in Doctor CYANce’s ‘Worth’ (boy beside KidLaw I do ship PenLaw in it so so hard).
• My thoughts: Some fanworks are so cute with a blushing Pen and bold Law who is so sure of what he needs. But, the power imbalance factor may be playing a part here. I prefer them as brotp though.
• What makes me happy about them: That they genuinely care about each other and in the same team to the hell and back.
• What makes me sad about them: We still don’t have a lot of canon materials for Pen. No backstory, not even his whole face. And the fact that they have been apart for too long.
• Things done in art/fic that annoys me: When Pen’s character acts like an asshole, usually to his ‘love rivals’. Come on, this guy is the Hufflepuff that ever Hufflepuff.
• Things I look for in art/fic: I always have a special place for a silver-haired Penguin :) Any art with a gorgeous Penguin that he and Law look dreamy together. Fics where Pen taking care of his Captain.
• Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Penguin with Shachi :D Law with Kid/Smo-yan/Luffy.
• My happily ever after for them: Continuing happy adventures together in their awesome Yellow Submarine.
• What is their favorite non-sexual activity?: When they have the free time, relaxing on the deck while Penguin listen attentively to Law talking (while leaning on Bepo). Law would tell stories of his adventures, sharing informations that he knows about different subjects, telling him about his ideas, opinions and plans while Penguin just love to listen to Law’s voice and his awe-inspiring visions (he’s such a fanboy).
Kid or Law just being a real brat and having a tantrum so their master pulls them over the nearest flat surface, pulls down their pants, and spanks their bare ass in front of everyone than makes them stand in the corner to think about why they were punished.
