When I read the twilight series when I was younger, I remember being horrified that Bella had to consume blood since her half vampire baby was eating her blood and making her sick and how later on in the book we get an adult half human vampire who said his mom had to drink blood when pregnant with him. Then in Tokyo ghoul when a ghoul gets pregnant with someone who was originally human, she had to force herself to eat human food for the baby and said she didn't know if she could come full term with the pregnancy. I mean, I love how the writers tried coming up with reasonings behind half human pregnancy. I really wonder how the svtfoe crew could have done it, but maybe it wouldn't have been allowed on the show and gone to something else like another book.
I doubt they'd ever go into detail about any kind of pregnancy. I think that's something that'll be left to the fans to decide how they want to interpret it.
Though, I think what would be especially interesting is seeing how pregnancy would effect the mother if she and the father are notably different species? Like, I think the best example would be Princess Penelope Spiderbite and Slime? He's literally a slime-monster that's pretty much completely composed of slime that just has a humanoid shape most of the time, and she's a Mewman, who mostly seem to be biologically identical to humans. What would a pregnancy be like for her if/when they have kids together?
