WE STARTED A 1920′S CRIME SYNDICATE AU FOR PINING, AND IM FUCKING MCLIVING!!
So Jocelyn’s a crime lord dealing in importing chinese opium, drugs/alcohol, and weapons into the amerca. Pender is a lounge singer, also a daughter of a diff crime boss, and she get’s un-consensually married off to Jocelyn as part of an alliance deal. Jocelyn at the beginning literally doesn’t care about Pender and only accepts the proposal cause she figures it’s a good insurance collateral.
