First wolf piece and first coastal wolf piece this is a scrap of Vancouver island coastal wolf fur from the amazing facetedfoxdesigns on insta they are probably one of my favorite ethical taxidermists I’m so excited ab this keychain
I definitely plan on ordering from them again!

I won’t jump the gun and say all fur farms are unethical, but I’m yet to see one that I would consider ok.
Legally, the word “humane” doesn’t mean much. I’ve seen fur farms that pride themselves on “excellent care” while keeping their animals in small wire-bottom cages with basically nothing to do. Many of the animals kept on fur farms are very intelligent and high-maintenance, they have complex needs and are not easy to care for. You’re really just better off buying from a hunter or a roadkill taxidermist.
There seems to be a common misconception in the alterhuman community that ‘if the tail looks healthy and doesn’t have a gold clamp then it’s probably fine.’ But that’s far from the truth.
