The 137 ft high statue of Chenrezig (Avalokitesvara) has been built at an elevation of 7,200 meters at Sanga Choeling in Pelling in West Sikkim. There is a glass skywalk at the base of the statue.. an interesting experience! There are around 137 steps to climb from the plinth to reach the statue!
