I just want to point out that one of my favorite parts in the Catching Fire book is when Peeta gets electrocuted and Finnick revives him. And that's purely due to how Katniss felt. Her friend has just died and this weirdo who has a history with lude humor just starts kissing him.
It was clarified that she wasn't fully familiar with the practice. She knew what it was but not off the top of her head, so for the moments before she recalled what Finnick was doing, the poor woman was probably so freaking confused.
I know Peeta almost dying isn't funny but everytime I think about Katniss's thoughts I can't help but laugh.
