These waffles are a breakfast delight! They're light, fluffy, and packed with the rich flavor of buttered pecan syrup. Perfect for a special morning treat.
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 2 tablespoons sugar. 1 tablespoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 2 large eggs. 1 3/4 cups milk. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup chopped pecans. 1/4 cup maple syrup. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter for the syrup. 1/4 teaspoon salt for the syrup.
Instructions: Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. Put the eggs in a different bowl and beat them. Then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed. Add the chopped pecans and mix them in. Warm up your waffle iron and use butter or non-stick spray to grease it. Put in the waffle iron enough batter to cover the waffle grid. Put the lid back on and cook the waffles until they are crisp and golden brown. Make the pecan syrup with butter while the waffles are cooking. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter over low heat in a small saucepan. Add the salt and maple syrup and mix well. Warm it up in the pan. Add some of the buttered pecan syrup to the waffles while they are still hot. Have fun!
