By the lake
Not too much time had passed since lunch time. Lapis was walking around the campus, eventually stopping by the lake. By looking around, she noticed only a few people were there. ‘Maybe the others are still eating.’ She thought, while sitting down under a large tree close by. Soon enough, she was struggling not to fall asleep. There was a soft breeze, along with the sun in the afternoon that forced her to do something in order to stay awake. She looked around at the other students and teachers, who were also affected by the environment, it seemed. Lapis looked through her backpack, only to see that she had only brought her camera with her, along with a bottle of water. She took them out, photographing various areas of the lake, trying to get a few people in the pictures as well.
She stopped for a bit to drink a bit of water, when she noticed someone who had just appeared in the area. Although she hadn’t met her before, she felt like she’d seen her before, not remembering from where. Lapis stared at her for a bit, studying her figure, slowly getting her camera and photographing her to get a closer look at her face. Lapis was rather intrigued by her, wondering where she’d seen her before. Not noticing if she was standing out, Lapis fell asleep with her camera on her lap.
