Basics: He/him, 29, siblings with Izzy, besties with Karson and Micky, divorced from Kay (theyre also besties now), in love with Jessie. Definitely a disaster when it comes to relationships but in a way thats fun to watch lol. Incredibly bisexual, loves all his friends dearly, and loves to hide all of his trauma until it becomes a Problem.

Powers: Telekenisis - I watch a lot of star wars, therefore, he did too, so he uses his powers very Jedi-y. I like to imagine he learned how to "throw" himself with his powers to mimic a jedi jump. He's also gotten good enough to be able to redirect pretty much anything thrown at him, even if its like, fire.

Basics: She/her, 29, siblings with Micky and Maggie, besties with Jessie and Sam, dark and broody type, lot of her vibe is still under development tbh but mostly because idk how to Explain it with words.

Powers: idk a cool succinct word for "harnesses chaos" but... that. The idea is that if she uses her powers and touches something, that thing is now Fucked because everything that could be wrong with it is now wrong with it.

I'm toying with the idea of giving her portal powers derived from the chaos bc whats the most fucked up thing you can do to air/space? Punch a hole in it? Maybe? I also might give her a Scream ability so if she screams and uses her powers she can Sindel-Mortal-Kombat scream.

Karson

Basics: He/him, 29, besties with Royal, Nick, and Kadin, wife-guy-level-head-over-heels-in-love with Kay, golden retriever coded, smiles constantly, an insanely good friend, tall as fuck.

Powers: on the surface he seems like he just has Super Speed. However, He actually has a power thats main purpose is to suppress any/all recoil damage from anything the user does to their body. This allows him to utilize it for doing many things beyond the usual human limit, but he maxed out the running stat bc he loves running.

Kay

Basics: She/her, 28, siblings with Jay and Ray, besties with Stella, divorced from Kadin (also now besties), married to Karson, trans, she is very much a mom friend to her core.

Powers: she also on the surface just seems to have super speed. Hers works differently than Karson's tho. Rather than just Being Super Fast, she manipulates time and slows it down. This is activated by her holding her breath, and the time slows aaaaaaaalmost to a stop while she has her breath held, and as she exhales time continues. Sorry if this is confusing im havin a hard time making sense in writing lol.

When she was first working on her powers all she could use it to do was slow time, predict reactions, and dodge or parry perfectly. Over the years though she learned how to move while stopping time (super hard to do, apparently it feels like trying to move in molasses) and now she also has super speed! She doesn't run tho she walks. To compare the two speedsters, Kay would win a 100m dash, but Karson would win the uh... way longer ones... marathon. I should learn more about track.

Basics: He/him, 28, siblings with Kay and Jay, besties with Maggie, left arm has many prosthetics he and Maggie have developed over the years. I don't know how he lost his arm and I haven't decided yet if it will ever be relevant. (If y'all have an idea for me you're welcome to share it!)

Powers: super strength baby!!!!! He is the unstoppable force and the immovable object. Being Between a rock and a hard place is no problem for him bc he'll just break them both its totally fine. Its actually really hard to hurt him since his body is built to break boulders. Unless you stab him. That'd probably work. You gotta get him first tho.

Basics: He/they, 28/???, siblings with Kay and Ray, Besties with Royal and Nick, AAA member of the LGBTQ's (asexual, aromantic, agender).

His lore goes Truly So Deep y'all, he was one of my Original Guys, from The Way Back When. I may make a separate post about his lore bc they're basically a God but Not. He sometimes gives himself amnesia on purpose. Sometimes he has white hair and eyes. He's one of my favorites to rotate in my brain.

Powers: Copys and saves other powers, can use multiple at once, has to focus on the people he gained the power from to use it properly. Gains powers by touching another superpowered person. Specialist in electric/ lightning based powers. Depending on where in the lore they are, he will Only use lightning powers because he does not know about the Copy/Save stuff.

Sam & Hydei

Sam: She/her, 29, besties with Kay and Izzy and Amber, in Love with Stella, trans, will bite you if provoked (doesnt take a lot to provoke). Sam is a chivalrous lesbian knight and we love her for this.

Powers: Sam has a demon shadow named Hydei*, who is Extremely powerful and has maxed out the Ripping-Things-Apart skill. Sam herself is maxed out in sword skills so she is able to defend herself while Hydei rampages. Hydei can also separate from Sam when needed and Sam can see what Hydei sees.

*Hydei: she/they, 28(?), besties with Sam, Stella, and weirdly, Royal. She's pretty neutral to anyone else Sam sees as a friend but will bother them sometimes for fun. Will bite anyone, anytime, for fun and enrichment.

Basics: She/her, 28, besties with Amber and Stella, in love with Kadin, extremely bisexual. She's the kind of person who uses her Karen energy for Good, she refers to this as Barb energy. (If you know why, ily gold star ⭐️) She's a really kind person but also kind of fiery and volatile at times which is a little confusing until you get to know her.

Powers: Ice manipulation baybe! She can make it and move it, arrange it, remove it, and if you piss her off enough she'll freeze you to your bones. I like to think her powers are like the lovechild of Shoto Todoroki's Raw Power and Sub-Zero's Finnesse.

Basics: he/her, 27, besties with Izzy and Royal, i ship him with Micky and Nick, she is Bigender and bisexual, she is probably the calmest and chillest of the group. She's just So Chill, Like he could teach a yoga class kind of chill, (i myself am not chill enough to do that so thats why I'm qualifying it this way lol)

Powers: Pyro-kinesis (?) or whatever. He can control and produce fire! I know this isn't exactly a groundbreaking concept but i love me a firebender. Bryan can get as hot as she wants (like, glowing white hot), he can melt stuff if needed, I like to imagine he can do that Lightsaber door-cut trick but with her hands. I think she could also bathe in lava and be totally fine.

Basics: he/him, 27, besties with Karson and Jay, poly with Micky and Bryan, trans and gay. Hes an Awesome friend, hes the kind of guy who'll bring you little treats and gifts all the time. He comes off super chill and like, very hippie-like. However, he can Hold A Grudge. Dont get on his bad side, you'll have many regrets.

Powers: i dont know of theres a cool word for this one either, but do you guys remember the girl from Sky High who could grow and control plants? (Sidebar: He LOOOOVED that chick. He also loves Poison Ivy.)

Im going with "florakenesis" bc that kinda makes sense. My boy can grow any plant in an instant and weaponize it. He carries seed packs for different plants on his person at all times. He actually bought a jacket and pants combo that has So Many Pockets and he even sewed on some more. He can also communicate with plants but he says they dont really do sentences they just "give off a Vibe."

Also, he Loves working with Micky because he can literally Sunny Day and make it way easier for Nick to use his powers.

Basics: she/her, 27, siblings with Micky and Amber, besties with Royal and Ray. Shes also type 1 diabetic and she made her own insulin pump that is the least annoying one in existence.

Powers: hyper intelligence. She's an inventor, gadgeteer, scientist, any field of STEAM she's got COVERED! In fights she basically likes to use speed calculating skills to fuck enemies up as efficiently as possible. REALLY loves a good gun. Not like stupid guns like irl but like a slime gun, a net gun, a fire hose water gun, and many more. Loves helping Ray come up with new arm gadget ideas. (She really wanted him to have a gun arm but he's not confident enough in his long-range aim for that kind of responsibility)

Basics: he/him, 28, besties with Izzy, trans, aromantic, anarchist. Has a son, backstory on that: opened front door to find a baby was left on his doorstep because an ex didnt realize he was trans and therefore Not The Dad but Ethan was basically like "hey, free kid! neat!" He is now the best dad ever to his son. (This is a recent idea of mine and his son has yet to be named)

I also like to imagine his parents are really weird and rad hippies. This seems important to the kind of person he is ya know?

Powers: So, he's got this funky acid in his blood that he can use to make weapons on demand. I havent figured out a name for that yet. But it's SICK as fuck. If he loses concentration on the weapon it'll disintegrate and he has to make a new one. This means he's got a weapon limit before he starts getting loopy since they're technically made from his body fluids. This also means the longer a fight goes on for him the drunker he'll act.

Basics: he/him, 26, siblings with amber and maggie, poly with Bryan and Nick, twink, besties with Kadin. Tbh he's kind of a self insert character just because of the amount of Gay he puts in his personality (i do that. Cuz im gay). Theres also more reasons that he might be the mary sue out of everyone (even the actual for sure mary sue)

Powers: He harnesses and channels the immense powers of the Sun. Tbh i gave him a lot to work with in this now that im thinking about it lol. He can emit light like a glow star, shoot lasers from his body, He can fly for some reason, and at some point i apparently decided he can make a "laser lasso" which i dont even fully understand what i meant but it does sound cool as fuck so I'm tellin yall too.

Basics: They/them, 27, besties with Karson and Jay, (although, if you aksed royal, everyone on this list is their bestie), frienemies with Negative. Honestly their whole lore with Negative also deserves its own post but i also only have about half of it figured out right now. Royal is the Kindest Bean in the bunch and also one of the most obnoxious (affectionate).

Powers: theyre psychic baby! A lot of their fight style is built around the fact that their powers can give them heads up of danger coming and helps them react accordingly. A lot of their visions are only like .02 seconds but they do have occasional Major Prophecy ones as well. Their powers also make them really good at picking up on emotions from others which makes them the designated Therapist Friend in the group.

Izzy

Basics: they/any pronouns, 26, siblings with Kadin, besties with Ethan, Sam, and Bryan, keeper of all genders. I love izzy so much and i think his powers are the ones i want to steal the most. Shes very Ferb-coded in that theyre quiet most of the time but when they do talk its either very profound or lowkey insane.

Powers: shapeshifting! And AFTER Years of research and practice, theyre HELLA good at it. For a long time they could only shapeshift into established animals that Existed, but then one day after hearing dinosaurs actually had feathers, Izzy realized as long as it can Hypothetically work, they can transform into Anything. This required a years-long research deep dive into animal anatomy and now they can successful chimera themself , they just have to sort of, design their new animal body and make sure they made lungs and a bladder and whatnot. They also utilize this to change their human appearance however they please which is great when genderfluid.

Basics: she/her, 26, in love with Sam, shes one of the characters of mine that i dont really know that well yet except for a few key things. All ive figured out about stella so far is that she's really good at hand-to-hand combat and shes super gay 😎

Powers: she has mind control powers but probably the most annoying version of them to have lol. I based the rules of her powers on the jinx game from childhood (re: jinx! You cant talk until someone says your ahaha) basically she can control someone and get into their brain but only after she manages to make the same movement as them or say something at the exact same time as them. She's gotten really good at predicting people because of this. The more people she has under her thrall, the less effort it takes for her to maintain them, she calls this "the mob mentality override." I haven't yet decided what, if anything, helps people escape from her control.

Basics: he/they 27, designated bad guy (affectionate), enemies with pretty much all other characters except royal. Theyre frenemies. Or something. I think this character is where i keep a lot of the trauma so uh.... yeah. Theyre understandably cranky in general.

Powers: I realize now that always referred to it as "Yoink" and find myself once again wishing i had thought through some solid names for these powers. Basically he can steal another persons powers temporarily (~10 mins?) and it stops the other person from being able to use theirs during the duration. Sort of a combo of Aizawa and Monoma's powers from MHA.
