before her and chan’s relationship got outed, this was definitely a huge problem because delusional fans could take any moment/interaction with the members and either ship them hard or use it as an excuse to hate on her. poor rookie era juju was in the trenches every other week because of dating scandals (some even accusing her of dating MULTIPLE members) 😭 it emotionally affected her really bad but back then kq told everyone to let it pass, only really taking action when the rumours were really malicious or led to threats
the members of course spoke out and told people to stop, especially during their early years when juju couldn’t say anything without getting hate for it, but as she started to build more confidence in herself she also began addressing the rumours when they got out of hand. this led to a few (valid) crashouts where she’d say things like “guys idk how many times you want me to say this but i don’t want them like that. you can have them!—actually no, you don’t deserve them”
then when chanliet got outed, the shipping with the members mostly died down but again, there are still delusional fans who will insist she’s also with a member, or that the whole chanliet relationship is a coverup :/ and on multiple times she’s had to seriously tell people to stop because of how disrespectful it is to their relationship by continuing to make up baseless rumours or genuinely trying to ship her with the members. that being said, chanliet are very secure in their relationship and would never let this get between them!!
