I support culling of feral and invasive species, because while all animals have intrinsic value, it should never be on an individualistic basis, due to appearance alone. Rare birds, native species, are not less important than a cat because they're not aesthetically pleasing, cute, or kissable. I would humanely cull feral cats, because ecocentrically, the enviroment needs preservation, by removing invasive species. Check out weighing good intentions, about cowbirds and the kirtland warbler
I’m sorry, the first thing I got caught on was “I’d like to see someone try to kiss a feral cat”. XD But yes, agreed with everything! I don’t know if humans are the sole cause of invasive species, but we’re the cause of a LOT of them and we have a responsibility to try & fix our mistakes to slow down the extinction event that’s currently happening.
