Gambians commemorate April 10 & 11 victims and survivors. Joined by survivor, Yusupha Mabaye - wheeled along by his brother, Alieu (who takes care of his every need), joins in the remembrance of April 10 & 11, 2000 - the unlawful killing of 14 young people gunned down by Gambian security forces, during peaceful student protests, in 2000, in the Gambia. Yusupha Mbaye was shot in the back by Yahya Jammeh regime forces whilst attending a peaceful, student protest. He is paralyzed from the neck down (see previous post). He was just 18 years old, at the time.
