Bc @pcacekept has made me ship Tina and Lucas, here's some shit I thought about for them:
Bc of Tina's position at the DPD, It's very rare that she would work cases with any of her superiors. Most of the time, she works smaller things, and most of the time she's partnered with one of the Android officers. She gets partnered with Lucas for one or two cases. ("Cases" being more like first responder type things)
During the revolution, Tina is slowly warming up to androids, but is still visibly uncomfortable being alone with them (at first). She tries to ease her own discomfort by just talking and is surprised when he talks back, and how easily they fall into a conversation.
Lucas putting himself in the way of danger to protect Tina, and Tina (without realizing that's what he's pretty much made for) getting angry that he's getting hurt for her.
Lucas putting himself in the way of danger to protect Tina bc that's what he's programmed to do. But then eventually, he does it because he wants to protect Tina.
Being in a room/area with other officers, human and android, when a criminal opens fire on them. Lucas immediately going to cover Tina, even if he's not near her at the time of the shooting.
Tina growing fond of him after a while.
Pack bonding bc that's what humans do.
Tina learning and memorizing Lucas's serial number so she can specifically request him as her partner (bc the first time she asked for Lucas to be her partner instead of a randomly assigned Android, she just got a look of "who?")
Lucas showing concern for Tina (ie her terrible sleeping habits and overconsumption of caffeine.)
Tina telling Lucas to be careful or people might start thinking he's a deviant and Lucas just freezing for a long while, staring at her, until she just nudges him playfully and says "dude, relax"
Post revolution, post deviancy, and post Android laws: androids can't be kept in work buildings as it's inappropriate/they can't be put in storage/it's inhumane.
Tina taking Lucas home with her, bc he has no where else to go and she likes his company and wouldn't mind a roommate.
Tina's pets immediately taking a liking to Lucas. Zeus assessing him for a moment and giving a little bark, but wagging his tail to show he's chill. Yardstick immediately rubbing against his legs and being super clingy bc she's like that
Lucas finding out that Tina's also has poor eating habits that fall in line with her inability to cook very much.
Lucas downloading a culinary module, but using it to teach Tina how to cook.
Lucas and Tina cooking together!!
Lucas meeting Tina's family, unintentionally bc her mom and grandma just decide to drop in one day.
Tina's mom thinking Lucas is Tina's boyfriend, and saying as much, and Tina being super embarrassed about it.
Tina's grandma being angry that Lucas is an Android and being mean about it too.
To the point that both Tina and her mom have to yell at her for it.
To the point that Tina has to stand in front of Lucas, a hand reaching back to hold onto him, to keep some distance between him and her grandmother, should she do anything unsavory, fearing that she might.
To the point that Tina has to kick them out of her apartment, making a comment about who she's with is none of their business and if they don't like her boyfriend, they can fuck off outta her life.
Tina apologizing to Lucas for all of that and just hugging him for a bit.
Neither of them bring up the boyfriend comment. But it doesn't become awkward.
Tina and Lucas at work again.
Tina in the break room with Gavin and Lucas passing by to tell her something (something home related)
Gavin making some snide comment that she's turned into an Android lover, calling Lucas a tin can or piece of plastic.
And Tina just snaps and kicks the chair out from under Gavin. And he goes down, hard enough to hurt, but not enough to get hurt.
And she throws out her coffee and leaves him on the floor.
Bc she's tired of it. She's tired of people talking shit. She doesn't want to hear it from her family, she doesn't want to hear it from Gavin, she doesn't want to hear it from anyone. Lucas is important to her, and she doesn't need anyone trying to fuck that up.
