also loved the detail that they had to stop at a crossroads so tom could vomit. itās a callback to when charlie got snatched in season 3 and really emphasizes how much distress he was in after the mosley plot failed.
also something about crossroads being important. thereās the obvious in that tom is at a crossroadsāa decision or change must be madeābut i think thereās something more symbolic or occult as well.
i mean that whole first scene, in the mud and mist, was incredible. him talking to his mom, picking the bullets out of the mud (so much mud from france). and then thereās the symbol of bullets throughout the whole show: carving names on bullets, but those bullets always failing. these bullets earmarked for tommy but removed from his gun, dropped in the mud.
This little boy has a tiny little kink at the tip of his tail, but thatās the only defect. Heās so sweet either way.Ā
