Biography;

Olivia is the second Rivera child, she was born and raised in Maryland a child of immigrant parents from Brazil

Her family is tight-knit, although sometimes her and mother would butt heads

Olivia knows some Portuguese, in hopes to make the kids fit in her parents focused on them all knowing English.

Liv has two brothers, one older and one younger, she is fairly close with her big brother and babies the hell out of her younger brother

Liv struggled a bit grades wise in high school, she would work hard but end up just scraping by with B’s. It felt disappointing  and she couldn’t help comparing herself with others and wondering what the hell she wasn’t doing right. She eventually just accepted she was just average in this department and joined the cheerleading squad.

She was fairly popular in high school due to cheering, but always felt like she was watching her life rather then living it. It was a lot of detachment and uncertainty in who she was, like any high schooler but it sometimes went further then that

Liv struggled with depression but if you asked anyone they could never tell, she became very good at hiding her emotions in public. Smiling and making sure everyone thought she was just happy go lucky Liv.

When it came that treacherous time to pick what you wanted to do with life, there was more inner questions of what she would be good at. So she did what any unsure high schooler did- she majored in psych. Ensuring her parents there was a lot she could do with a psych degree, even she did not fully believe it herself

Liv got a full ride scholarship to Portland State for cheerleading.

Moving basically across the country was very tough for the girl, being away from her family. Although she would visit and stuff, every time she left it was harder and harder for her to adjust back to Portland life.

Liv struggled throughout her first year in a new city, making new friends, and trying to find her place. It was when her first year wrapped up and she was working a summer job that she figured out what she wanted to do. It was an incident with a high school girl getting ditched in a change room with all her clothes taken by her “friends”. Talking to the girl and comforting her before her parents came and got her was when Liv figured out she wanted to help people.

She had always been told she was a good listener, sometimes harsh when feedback was requested, but still a good person to go to for help.

Liv’s main goal after that was deciding if she would be better placed as a teacher or something else. She wanted to work with kids, and teaching seemed like the obvious options but taking a career test she found counselling as an option. It had the right amount of interaction with youth without having to drag home papers to mark

Liv is a new guidance counsellor at the Newburg High School, she thinks she’s doing well but is still very insecure of whether or not she is getting though to the kids.

Liv is very kind and warmhearted, she’s the friend you go to when you want it straight and would need a hug after she drags you for your poor life decisions

Stubborn, if she believes she’s right it’s going to take some pulling teeth and actual factual evidence to lead her to believe she was wrong. Even then, good luck having her admit so

definitely suffers from peter pan syndrome. she doesn’t want to grow up.to her being and adult is being unhappy and miserable and that’s her biggest fear.

she’s back home after her father suffered a near fatal stroke. he was in a coma for a few weeks and he has to learn to do everything all over again. it’s really hard for her to remain happy-go-lucky but she’s really trying.

she decided to move from portland shortly after returning from a road trip she took with her then girlfriend. after experiencing the freedom of being on the road and not being stuck anywhere, she decided regular life wasn’t for her anymore. she broke up with her girlfriend and drove off.

What was your characters home environment like growing up?

Julian’s home environment was very different from most people. When he was an infant he was adopted by a young couple. They were unable to conceive a child of their own and figured adoption was the best route for them. When Julian was an infant he struggled hearing. It was apparent in the things that he’d do like, never being startled by loud sounds or never really responding to his parents voice. Julian’s parents just shrugged it off, and didn’t think they should look into this. They were in the mindset of my child could never… Eventually when they realized Julian wasn’t listening well, they both claimed it was a behavior issue, and decided they couldn’t handle it. So, they rehomed him.

Julian was only two at this time of being rehomed. The adoption agency sent him to live with his two fathers. They were aware that Julian had behavioral issues, and they were prepared to help him. All his fathers wanted was to give him was the best possible home life. When they took Julian to the doctors that’s when they noticed it was his hearing wasn’t where it should be. While Julian was able to complete certain milestones for a two year old, he wasn’t in the percentile he should be.

After that visit it was then he started learning asl. It was then that they realized Julian didn’t have any behavior problems, he was deaf. Julian was communicating with his family, and always had a lot on his mind.

Eevee has 5 other siblings.

4 of them are alive.

when Eevee was 15 she’d just gotten season 1st ( and eventually only ) season of her Disney show renewed and she had a stalker. on her 16th birthday, the stalker snuck into her sweet 16, cornered her when she and her older, brother Elias were alone, stabbed Elias, and kidnapped Eevee. Elias was rushed to the hospital when they found him but died shortly after.  They found Eevee, recovered her from the stalker unharmed, but when she asked about Elias... shortly after Eevee sunk deeper into her depression, and also suffered from survivors’ guilt and eventually had to stay in a mental hospital and was released a year later, a few days after her 17th birthday. being in the real world was hard for her and in a few weeks time, became legally emancipated from her parents because her father had taken control of monitoring her finances, her decisions, and became too controlling of her schedule and time out of his concern for her and her mother acted like none of it happened and expected Eevee to pick up where she left off and to get more jobs and keep working. It was an environment detrimental to her health and sanity so she had to get out of that and got her own place and moved away from her parents and unfortunately, her twin sister and younger brother.
