NEW POST! 1 Easy Way All Allies Can Help Close the Gender and Racial Pay Gap “The National Labor Relations Act protects your right to discuss your salary with your coworkers. Your company cannot legally punish you (let alone fire you) for sharing that information. Thanks, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, patron saint of unions and hearthside radios!” Link in bio! #wagegap #paygap #workplaceequity #lillyledbetterfairpayact #career #paytransparency #paytransparencymatters #womendopersonalfinance #feminism #genderpaygap #racialpaygap https://www.instagram.com/p/CLKPuFEns9s/?igshid=rx0kvg18xqhr
The equal pay legislation goes beyond ensuring men and women are paid the same for the same work — which has been enshrined in New Zealand law since 1972. The amendment bill focuses on pay equity by ensuring women in historically underpaid female-dominated industries receive the same remuneration as men in different but equal-value work. The new bill makes it easier for workers to lodge pay equity claims because it sets clear guidelines for comparing pay between women in female-dominated professions and men with “substantially similar skills, responsibility, and service” in male-dominated occupations. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern promised to amend the existing legislation when she was elected in 2017. “Pay discrimination based on gender is something for the history books.” Source: Global Citizen https://www.globalcitizen.org/en/content/new-zealand-equal-pay-amendment-bill/
This is the annual freelancers' income in the Lazio region, where the Italian's capital (Rome) is located, (so One of the richest).
There are reported some different freelancers jobs, as notary, lawyer, nurse, engegneer ecc...
They all have one thing in common: the paygap between male and female workers.

#Repost @womenintheworld (@get_repost) ・・・ This year Latina Equal Pay Day –which marks how much longer Latinas must work to earn the same amount their white male counterparts earned the previous year- falls 18 days later than last year, and @evalongoria asked on CNBC, 'Is it me, or does it feel like we’re going backwards?' . Of all the Equal Pay Days –Asian-American, all women, African American Women and Native American Women- Latina Equal Pay Day comes last, with Latina women making 45.5% less than white men and 31% less than white women. . ‘Nearly 30% of Americans believe the pay gap exists in part because Latinas simply choose lower-paying jobs, implying that Latinas ourselves can be blamed for the gap... This presumption is utterly untrue. And the anti-immigrant rhetoric in our current political climate isn’t helping,’ writes Longoria Baston. . The star emphasized how important creating programs to support working mothers is in addressing the pay gap, saying, ‘There’s a vicious cycle at play for millions of working mothers: If they don’t have someone to watch their children, they can’t go into work. And yet in order to afford childcare, they have to go to work.’ . ‘It’s time to demand more for Latinas.’ . #LatinaEqualPayDay #GenderPayGap #PayGap . I Am A Feminist | I Am A Men’s Rights Activist
I believe in equal rights for both Women and Men. I seek to encourage balance rather than division, And so I identify as Pro Men’s Rights as well.
Some people may consider that Problematic, Or that it doesn't make any sense, Or that I'm far too opportunistic -
But, I refuse to alienate the other binary As we are two parts of the same whole that marks Humanity. We need to work together in this society to make the world a better place Not just for Men and Women, But for all Genders.
So let's not think of Feminists as Man-Haters, Or Men's Rights Activists as Woman-Beaters. Let's come together instead and work something out, rather than start a war.
The World's had enough of war already, I say it's about time to share some respect instead.
To be a feminist means you acknowledge the pay gap between genders. #feminism #feminist #paygap #women #money #earnings #job #revolution #empower #fuckthepatriarchy #impeachtrump #fuckdonaldtrump #equality (at Moorhead, Minnesota)
