i have soooooo many feelings about shane struggling after he joins the centaurs because yes there are so many things in his life that are great, but there are also so many things that he lost and that are unfair and that are confusing and bad and they make him angry and he doesn't know what to do with that anger because he's supposed to be happy now right? he can't be upset because look at all the good he has! he can't be angry or fall apart because then everyone who threw him away would be right about him! there's just so much there to unpack and im not eloquent enough to do it so i just keep trying to find fic that touches on these things and then rambling about it in the comments
