Today’s @pawsforgold Olympic event is Swimming!

I have only been swimming once so I thought I would share my first swim lesson experience at @theboneadventure with you!

My human took me for a swim lesson because she really wants me to be more comfortable in the water because we go out on boats, kayaks, and other in or near water adventures.

Swipe for a photo series of my swim lesson. My human says I did really well and was very brave. My instructor was very patient and actually got me to be more comfortable and swim a few times.

I’m going to go back for a second lesson but my human will stay out of sight that time so that I can focus on my lesson instead of running over to her at the window.

I actually conquered some pretty big tree root hurdles and climbed some cliffs today but more of that to come later as I don’t have much service out here in the wild.

6” hurdles are so much scarier. 😅

To celebrate I made my own tide pool obstacle course to enter the @pawsforgold Olympic Obstacle Course event.

It’s National Mutt Day and I’m celebrating by entering the @pawsforgold Olympic Running event!

More importantly, did you know that July is National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month?

Mental health does not discriminate but unfortunately systems do, making it even more difficult for minorities to get help when they need it.
