I passed my very first university session!! Hooraaaay!

[1998] High School Paul and Patryck + 2 pages of a silly comic from before they joined the Army! (“What Are Two Dumbass Dorks Supposed To Do?”)

In my headcanons, Paul and Patryck were always two dudes who were never up to no good. Pat was more the voice of reason, and Paul was more reckless, but no matter what, they always pissed people off and got into trouble. Two dumbasses living life for the fun of it.

They joined the Army for the sake of benefits: money, insurance, and cool perks. They never had any true passion in signing up other than just getting something out of it, and as a last resort for finally finding a job.

Little did they know, 10 years later into their army career, they were gonna have to mentor this awkward, fresh-out-of-highschool dude with a red hoodie who was completely brand new to the Army.

AND LITTLE DID THEY KNOW LATER ON PAUL AND PAT WERE GONNA BE A THING DURING THE ARMY!

NOTES!:

In this timeline (where WTFuture doesn’t happen, so it’s like a good timeline), the Army Paul, Pat, and Tord joined isn’t the Red Army! I see The Red Army only being a thing in the WTFuture Timeline when Tord becomes leader. I see this more an unnamed, average Army that they all signed up for (think of the one from Moving Targets!)

A common ship in the Eddsworld fandom is Paul/Pat with Tord, but I personally don’t ship Paul/Pat with Tord! In my personal headcanon, I see Paul and Pat being mentors/instructors to Tord, who later on see Tord as a son, and Paul and Pat like father-figures.
