This one came to me slowly, but I got inspired by a comic my boyfriend made for me when I was nervous to meet his dad. And also another conversation between my dad and my boyfriend: I was in the bathroom and my boyfriend told me my dad thanked him for looking after me.
In this case for Paul’s parents, Paul had a really hard time making real friends and it broke their hearts to see him growing up lonely. So Patryck was basically a godsend for not judging Paul for any of his quirks or oddities.
I don’t know what Paul’s parents names are- for some reason the names Joseph and Martha are calling to me.
