More progress! Maybe I can finish tomorrow. There’s work going on on the paintings too, so maybe I will post that soon.
End of day 1 on “Thursday” drawing from the days of the week series. It’s still in its very messy trying to born phase. That bright yellow paper is like battery acid of artistic instigation... There will be a definite concerto in the play of light between the ideas of cool light peeking in, warm light brushing a small portion of the interior and more on the distant lawn and the ideas shadow power to the back-lit overall vantage. This all propels some great color.
I definitely find little moments in my drawings that have a David Hockney feeling to them...
