I think you can guess my AU answer but gotta be Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Dean throwing off those Paul Newman cocky vibes with so many great plans that never go completely right and Sam as the more reflective, earnest Sundance ready to kill anyone for Butch. Hmmmm, first kiss would have to be when they are on the run, tired and worried with only each other in the end. The hurt/comfort is off the charts so yeah, I’m in in.
For a movie where they are hunting a monster, I would love to see them in The Night House (slightly spoilery if you haven’t seen it). The themes of death and grief and keeping terrible secrets from your loved one would be a perfect Winchester vibe, then throw in a subtle monster playing psychological tricks to get a soul back who had escaped death. Forget Beth the heroine. She’s awesome but the Winchesters would be irresistible to The Nothing as two souls that have consistently escaped death again and again. Throw in a lot of sexual desperation and confused jealousy throughout the story and you would kill me dead. DEAD. Oh yeah, they would be mangled physically and emotionally *chef’s kiss*
