Noel: Liam was driving around the [Knebworth] site at about 9 o'clock this morning, off his head with his, uh... with his fiancée, in a golf buggy, chanting some uh... I don't know.

Jo: Oh, right!

Jo: Can you see yourself as best man at some point?

Noel: I suppose I'll have to be, yeah. Erm... He was asking me that the other day, he was going, will you be the best man. So I said, yeah.

Jo: So there is going to be a wedding then? It's not just one of those engagements for—

Noel (interrupts): You'll have to ask them two, really. But I would imagine sooner or later there will be.

note that this is just a bare-bones timeline, with very few details for each event, because there wasn’t really space for much else. if anyone has any particular questions about their engagements and weddings, feel free to ask me!! i’ll also post my findings separately anyway over the next few weeks because. there is so much going on. oh my god. but tl;dr of this particular timeline is that noel and liam scheduled their weddings to be just four days apart 😐👍

thursday 18 april 1996—noel and meg deny reports that meg has proposed
