@davidgoggins Chaallenge # 3: I just sat down and wrote what’s making me uncomfortable and the things I don’t like to do even though I know they are good for me. I’ll skip the details, but give you the idea. Things I don’t like (but I do because they are good for me) are: 1️⃣ Waking up early. After years of 330-430 am wake ups to walk Blew, make breakfast, meal prep, walk and bus to training sessions, I got lazy with my 1pm start time. Today I’m up at 715 am and tomorrow I’ll be up at 615am to prepare for @a.doseofrose 2️⃣ At-home workouts. It may sound silly, but I struggled so much without the gym - I chose not to workout , regularly for 2 years. Most folks don’t know because I don’t get fat, I get smaller, weaker, and lazier. Well I’ve been back to training regularly for about 2 years now. I still don’t like it. #imissthegym too 3️⃣ Cold showers. Google it. Don’t like it. But I do them daily. 4️⃣ #intermittentfasting has been a pratctice if mine now for...19 ish months. I realize I struggle setting boundaries when it comes to socializing. “No, I can’t meet you for breakfast...” unless it’s after 1pm 5️⃣ Cardio. Particularly, running. I hate long distance running. What’s long distance? Anything over 2 min. I have an arbitrary 5k goal. The habit was 20 minutes #nonstop on Wednesday’s. Now I’ve added intervals on Saturdays. ✳️ This picture represents hitting the “publish” button every day.
