But Halmarut is SUCH a fascinating character to me. There's no doubt that she also yearns for the past as all Ascians did. And yet, she also admires mankind for their resilience and she looks towards the future with an unrelenting gaze. The way she looked the scions in the eyes, telling them that she will do whatever it will take in order for mankind to see another day.

It's that same ruthlessness that the Ascians did in order to summon Zodiark, the same ruthlessness that Venat had when she decided to sunder her people in order to teach them suffering so that they might yet pass Meteion's trial, and the same ruthlessness that she fostered in the Winterers that we already caught a glimpse of in Calyx in pursuing their own ambition for the vision of a future that they seek as well as to ensure that they fulfill their role of making sure that mankind will survive the rejoining.

(real talk for a moment. Support your local public library. We are under heavy fire and the censorship bullshit that's happening in school libraries is starting to nibble around the edges at us. We just barely got a reprieve for federal funding but now we're fighting again for the next amount of federal funding and on the local level a lot of our budgets are getting slashed right down to the bone.)

Yoshi P mentioned wanting people to admire the scenery of the new raid. And I don't disagree with the idea. Raid scenery is amazing. I wish we had explore mode in raids.

Apparently you can /return to the beginning of a raid and go back. So I've been told anyway. I have not tested this. But that still depends on getting into the raid you want to pose in in timely manner

Would anyone be interested in a slow-mo run of the new raid? Not immediately when it comes out. Probably at least a month after it comes out but it's negotiable if there's interest. Everyone would need to a) progress there and b) be at least a little familiar with the mechanics so we can still run the fights in an okay time.

But the point would be to NOT take off running after every fight, to pose, read the lore scraps on the floor, to chill.

Hell, it could be a regular thing in different raids too. Voting on where to do another walking tour. I just thought about it because of the live letter and made the snap decision to put this idea out into the universe. I do not know if I possess the capability to coordinate this or if people even care.
