Jaheidi's Cinnamon Roll Coffee Cake Crumble š¤¤š¤¤š¤¤š¤¤ . . . Ingredients FOR THE CAKE: 3Ā cupsĀ all-purpose flour 1Ā cupĀ white granulated sugar 4Ā tspĀ baking powder 2Ā large eggs 2Ā tspĀ vanilla extract 1 1/2Ā cupsĀ milk 1/2Ā cupĀ salted butter (1 stick)Ā melted FOR THE CINNAMON FILLING: 3/4Ā cupĀ (1 1/2 sticks) salted butterĀ softened to room temp 1Ā cupĀ packed light brown sugar 2Ā tbspĀ flour 1Ā tbspĀ ground cinnamon For the crumble topping: 2 1/2Ā cupsĀ all-purpose flour 1Ā cupĀ light-brown sugar 1-1/2Ā tspĀ cinnamon 1Ā cupĀ butter,Ā melted and cooled (2 sticks) powdered sugar,Ā for dusting Instructions FOR THE CAKE: Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Spray 9 x 13 grease the pan and lightly flour it In a large bowl (or the bowl of your stand mixer), combine ingredients for cake (except melted butter). Don't overmix, just stir until combined. While your mixer is running, slowly add the 1/2 cup melted butter. Mix just until combined (overmixing flour in baked goods can make it tough and rubbery.) Spread this batter evenly into your baking dish. FOR THE FILLING: In a small bowl, combine all your filling ingredients: softened butter, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Stir until combined well. Drop the cinnamon filling by spoonfuls onto the cake batter. Take a butter knife and make swirly, marble-effect patterns all around the cake. Drag the knife through both the cinnamon and cake batter. Bake the cake for about 40-45minutes, until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. For the crumble topping: In a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, flour and cinnamon.Ā Mix it together well. Then pour in melted butter and stir until combined and clumps begin to form. Sprinkle those clumps (crumbs) all over the cake batter. If you are using an 8x8 baking dish - Ā it will be thick. Bake for about 30 minutes for an 8x8 dish.Ā Bake for about 20 minutes for a 9x13 baking dish. Use a toothpick to check for doneness (as oven times vary.) Crumb topping should be golden brown and a toothpick inserted to the middle of the cake should come out clean. Banana Bread made from scratch š¤¤š¤¤š¤¤ Prep 15 min Cook 1 hr 5 mins Total 1 hr 20 min Servings 12 Yield1 loaf Ingredients 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda ¼ teaspoon salt ½ cup butter ¾ cup brown sugar 2 eggs, beaten 2āā cups mashed overripe bananas Directions Step 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan. Step 2 In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture; stir just to moisten. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Step 3 Bake in preheated oven for 60 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.
