After watching G_XOXO's video on youtube about Pastor Ted theory part two something clicked. G's video says that Ted is Bethany's father and could be who we think is CHARLES and that that actual Charles died as a child. The vault is a tribute to Charles. I agreed with a lot of her points. Then I started thinking about all the things that the fandom needs to tie together like, Bethany's story, Sara Harvey, Black Veil etc. Here is my theory (just hear me out) what is Ted is A/"Charles" and is Bethany/Charles dad like G said and what if Black Widow/Veil is Bethany/Charles mom!
First we see black veil giving flowers to the parents of Bethany Young. What is this was symbolic. We know that Bethany was missing for a few years and her body was wrongly identified as Alison's. Black veil giving flowers to Bethany's parents(herself and Ted) could be symbolic, they finally know that Bethany is dead, they could have spent the first four seasons looking for Alison to try to find answers about what happened to Bethany and were she was. Then after finding out that Alison was alive and Bethany was actually dead the game got darker.
Next, Black veil's writing looks very similar to the A's writing from the previous seasons, more specifically Ian's suicide note. There are many random T's that are capitalized just like in the card.
We have also seen A in the black hood in A's lair with the Black veil costume on a mannequin. This led me to believe that the two are working together. I know that Marlene King said that there is currently only one A. Black veil isn't considered traditional black hoodie A and also she could be lying. She said Mona wasn't alive and she is. We are getting so close now that they need to start deceiving the fandom to keep the reveals alive. Also it seems like way to much to have A be doing everything alone now when we know there was a team in the past. Who makes a better team than husband and wife.
Also I find it weird that Ted went on dates with 2 of the liars mom's. The only two mom's who are single. Weird.. Ted has been around since season three and is also still a part of the show now....
Lastly, Ashley cheats on Ted when he is away(building the doll house maybe) and Ted just doesn't care. Even Ashley is surprised that he can forgive so easily and she almost tries to end it with him and he just blows it off. That seems like it means something.
