I thought it would be good practice to take a piece of someone else's artwork and adapt it to my own style. So I took one by female illustrator Mabel Lucie Attwell, who's known for her cutesy drawings of children. I took it upon myself to capture what made the original picture effective while giving my own touch to it. I also used a photograph of Mabel's daughter, Peggy for reference.Â
