so weird seeing internet micro celebrities where i live like i recognize this person but their fame is so niche i don’t know who to tell about it. like who am i gonna tell about meeting a cooking influencer at my local farmers market. what’s a word for famous but not to other people

i am out to sea on a fishing voyage. a storm hits and something large is in the water. i can’t make out it’s shape but i am certain it is larger than any known animal in the ocean. it’s above the surface and i can sea now that it has eyes. eyes that are looking at me. it submerges itself once more. the movement creates swells in the water that crash against the fishing boat. with one great wave i am cast overboard. the next morning i wash up on shore with a bunch of cartoonish lipstick marks all over my face and a dazed smile.
