Where had all the Earthlings gone?
’Waking up’ in the middle of a snowed city was not the morning the UFO anticipated to wake up in.
In fact, not only had it snowed, it looked like this town had been abandoned for a while. The skies were cloudy, everywhere was snow, and nobody was in sight. Not even the surviving buildings glowed; the only light that existed was from Jobski themselves.
They even tried to find their friends from their jobs. But no matter what part of the Earth they flew off too, there was no human nor animal in sight.
Ultimately, the worst part - apart finding that all your jobs and the people who managed them were no longer existent - was that even Ankh’s store was permanently shut down. There was sign of the Cosmic Apparel Shop nor its owner at the corner where they resided.
Were they truly the only one left on this planet?
Perhaps it was a good thing that it was nothing more than a bitter dream, as the first thing UFO was to open the curtains of their windows to reveal a bustling sunny city, and no gloomy snow in sight. Not in the middle of the year, at least.
