PARTICLES
This is one of my favourite video effects so far. The appearance of a woman turning into a flock of crows is outstanding. The breakdown towards the end of the video gives a basic outline of the different effects used such as particles, shadows, and colouring. There is also a tutorial on how to create this, which I will be watching and testing out.
I am inspired to try something similar, but with a unique idea. This is something I will think about for a while and try to hone in on an original concept.
