NOAH- “That boy is way too intelligent for his age. He is also a very sensitive child. He told me that he got impatient with you because you are always telling him to do his chores instead of asking him to do things....”
DARBY- “Well I have to tell him, as he would never do them...but I could see how a kid his age would feel being told to do something all the time. I can certainly try to be more mindful of that, and ask instead of demand.”
NOAH- “See, I told you that you were a great mom....he is also feeling a little abandoned, I think. He said that his real mom is gone and now Matais left. He seemed afraid of loosing Matais and forgetting who he was. and then asked if you or I were ever going to leave....I assured him on all accounts. But I definitely need to let Matais know that he needs to stay in contact with him.”
DARBY- “wow, yes, if he is feeling those things, we all definitely need to reassure him. Damn, you are a pretty good parent yourself....how about we practice on making more babies now...”
